Brimora reports published food composition measurements and helps you record your own observations. It does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice, and it cannot tell you whether a food is safe for you. Reported tolerance thresholds vary enormously between individuals — a high number here does not mean you will react, and a low number does not mean you will not. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before changing your diet, especially if you are restricting foods.
Values come from peer-reviewed published studies, and each value shows its source so you can read it yourself. Published measurements of the same food disagree, sometimes by a wide margin, because they depend on ripeness, storage, processing and method. Brimora shows the reported range for this reason. We do not guarantee that any value matches the specific item in your kitchen.
Brimora offers an optional auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Your logs are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; deleting the app deletes the data.
Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the Brimora dataset as a dataset. The underlying studies are cited and openly licensed — go to the source. Do not use Brimora to give medical advice to other people.
Brimora is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Openverse is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Brimora, or from any dietary decision you make.
